Knights of Columbus – Dedication of Volunteers from across Nova Scotia
State Special Olympics Chairman Ed McHugh and State Warden Sean Kelly from the Knights of Columbus presented Special Olympics Nova Scotia with a cheque for $7,500. Dedicated volunteers across the province, the KOC in Nova Scotia have donated more than $ 75,000 to SONS since 2011, with funds going directly to our Regional groups to support athletes.

Michelin North America (Canada) Inc. President Andrew Mutch and Recruitment Manager and SONS Board Member Kate Brown present a cheque for $10,000 to Special Olympics NS CEO Michael Greek. A proud founding partner of Special Olympics in Nova Scotia, Michelin and its employees support SONS in many ways, including financial donations, volunteering at our provincial games, and the delivery of the School Program.
