Special Olympics Nova Scotia

Committed to enriching the lives of Nova Scotians with an intellectual disability through sport.

Congratulations Mr. T.

Terry Richardson has been a pillar of Special Olympics Nova Scotia for 40 years. Many in our community will recognize him from around Special Olympics Pictou County, at our Nova Scotia Provincial Games, and at the countless events we host each year. Over the past four decades, Terry has truly done it all—coach, Regional Coordinator, Board Member, event emcee, water boy, parking attendant, and SOOOOOO much more. No matter the role, he has always stepped up wherever needed, making an incredible impact on athletes and our community alike.

Thank you, Terry, for your unwavering dedication, generosity, and the countless ways you have supported Special Olympics over the last 40 years. Here’s to celebrating this remarkable milestone—and to the next 40 years ahead 😉!

I wish people withou

"I wish people without disabilities to know that people who have disabilities can do more than you think, so give us a chance. All people should be included because everyone is stronger together."

Today’s donut can help power tomorrow’s possibilities for athletes like John Burke from Special Olympics Nova Scotia.

Available today at Tim Hortons through Feb 1. 100% of the proceeds will support thousands of athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities across Canada.

--
