Did you know Special Olympics athletes are actively staying fit online? From Mindfulness Mondays, International Dance Day Parties to Weekly Wellness Challenges – athletes are staying connected with programs like #SOHealthyAtHome and SONS Live.
And when the Public Health orders allow, the athletes will be back at programs with their friends, from Amherst to Sydney to Yarmouth. Over 2,500 Nova Scotian athletes will be eager to get back to their 16 different sports and our community programs Active Start, Fundamentals, Multi-Sport and Unified. And over 500 coaches, 150 officials and hundreds more volunteers can’t wait to see them again!
