7 Days to #SO2018 LETR Flame Of Hope

Flame of Hope LETR Run to National Summer Games 2018

It is one week from today when we will be enjoying the sold-out opening ceremonies in Antigonish with the lighting of the #FlameofHope in the Cairn. Beginning July 27th  many in our Law Enforcement (LETR) communities will carry the Flame of Hope through Nova Scotia communities enroute to the National Summer Games.

It will be the biggest Torch Run by the LETR in Nova Scotia so please come out to cheer them on in your community! Deputy Chair, Robin McNeil and Special Olympics Nova Scotia Board member, is excited to announce  ” The Law Enforcement Torch Run (LETR) team will be leading a contingent of Law Enforcement Torch Runners from across Canada to bring the Special Olympic Torch known as the “Flame of Hope” to the opening ceremonies of the 2018 Canadian Special Olympic Summer Games.” It will be an opportunity to help raise funds and support our Athletes.

We know all the athletes and coaches are hard at work with their last few days of training. They are ready to travel to Nova Scotia’s first National Summer Games in almost two decades. Come to celebrate their determination and bravery!
