Purchase your tickets online today and join us to hear an inspirational message for the Scattolon family.
On October 21st, 2016, as you join us for the Dr William Stanish and Friends Luncheon, you will meet a remarkable father and daughter duo that will share with you their story of the doors Special Olympics has opened for them.
Londo and Victoria Scattolon are from Dartmouth Nova Scotia. Victoria is now 24 years old and competes in the sports of Swimming and Figure Skating. In the past, she has also participated in track and field and bowling. Over her many years of involvement with Special Olympics, Victoria has had the opportunity to compete at local, Provincial, and even National events. You might also recognize her from the many PSA commercials she has done for us throughout the years as well. She has a smile that can light up any room.
On October 21st, 2016 Londo will share with you the very personal journey their family has taken since learning their daughter was diagnosed with Down Syndrome and how Special Olympics has opened doors into their life they never dreamed possible. Along with Londo’s wife Faith, together the three have been dedicated ambassadors for the organization and our athletes. Their volunteerism extends beyond the scope of Victoria’s sports to include many roles that help us continue to grow and provide quality experiences to our members.
Please save the date… October 21st, 2016 and join us at the Dr. William Stanish and Friends Luncheon. It is sure to leave a retrospect of acceptance, strength and perseverance in your hearts.
Dr. William Stanish believes strongly in supporting his community in their quest to live healthy lives. Now in it’s third year, the Dr Wiliam Stanish and Friends luncheon will aim to raise money for athletes in Nova Scotia that will represent their province as we compete and host the 2018 Special Olympics National Summer Games. Your support is greatly appreciated.
