Committed to enriching the lives of Nova Scotians with an intellectual disability through sport.

Meet Madelyn, a Spec

Meet Madelyn, a Special Olympics athlete from Special Olympics Sackville-Bedford.

“Madelyn’s personality has blossomed along with her confidence and it’s so nice to see,” Jessica, her mom, says. “She is proud of how well she is doing with basketball, and she feels pride in herself.”

From June 11-21, you can help make athletes like Madelyn reach their personal best by making a donation at checkout at participating Empire Family Brands stores including Sobeys, Lawtons Drugs, Needs Convenience and Foodland & Co-ops.

From first goals to newfound confidence and lasting friendships - every best is personal. Your donation helps a Special Olympics athlete reach theirs.

Thank you for helping create more inclusive communities.
